How to order
You can buy from our inventory through our 'shop' page or order something not in stock by calling us. To order an item that is not in stock, please call us at the shop for the best customer service.
Our number is 415-255-9940. During business hours an actual human will answer the phone to guide you through the process.You will probably have a lot of questions.
How does one maintain a Peace Industry rug?
For daily maintenance vacuum as necessary, with the hard floor setting or upholstery extension. DO NOT vacuum with the setting that engages the mechanized spinning brush. This will cause damage.
Clean up spills as they occur for best results. Blot with a dry towel. Wet blot with 3 parts water to one part white vinegar if the liquid contains acids or proteins. Dry blot again to remove the liquid. If you have a vacuum with a hose attachment you can lift the wet area and tap it with the hose which will expedite the drying and prevent a ring from forming. In the event of a pet urine accident we highly recommend having your rug professionally cleaned. Pet urine can bleach your rug and cause a permanent odor. If you are in the Bay Area, we highly recommend using Simonian Oriental Rug Cleaners located at 939 N. Amphlett Blvd. in San Mateo. You can drop off your rug to them or have them pick up from you, they can be reached at 650-343-0929.
Rotate it! Flip it over! Rotating your rug will distribute the wear across a larger area and prevent one area from becoming worn excessively. Better yet, your rug is reversible and both sides are totally usable. Flip it over occasionally and use the other side.
Do I need a rug pad?
No, our rugs are between 1/2" and 3/4" thick and quite dense. They will not move around or collapse when walking on them.
How do you ship?
We ship UPS ground. A signature is ALWAYS required. You may sign the sticky note if you miss them and leave alternate instructions. You will receive a tracking #.
Do you ship internationally?
Of course we do. However, we may not be able to provide a tracking # with international shipments. We advise using a commercial address, if possible, to avoid making arrangements to stay home to wait for the package.
Can I return or exchange it?
You may return a stocked item within 2 days of receipt. If it is still in new condition. A 10% restocking fee will be charged. You may also exchange an item within two days of receipt at no charge. You will be responsible for all shipping costs and any costs related to damage. Custom orders are non-refundable or exchangeable.
Can I request swatches?

What are the standard sizes?
Our standard sizes are:
2'6" x 10'
4' x 6'
6' x 8'
7' x 7'
8' x 10'
Are custom sizes available?
Yes! For a 20% upcharge you can order any size between 4' x 6' and 8' x 10'. For a 30% up charge you can order any size over 8' x 10' up to 11' x 14' and larger sizes can be achieved by seaming.
How are the rugs priced?
They are priced by size. Standard sizes are priced at $41. psf for rugs with an undyed base color. Standard sized rugs with a dyed base color are priced at $51. psf. For custom sized rugs add 20% - 30%.
Do you offer a trade discount?
Yes, send us an email introducing yourself. We generally expect designers and architects to have a company website if they have their own firm.
What are the options for an undyed base?
Camel, grey, nutmeg, charcoal, black, fog and mushroom.
What are the options for a dyed base?
Saffron, spray, olive, blaqua, blueberry, indigo, eggplant, plum and cranberry.
Do you offer trade ins?
Yes we do. Trade ins are subject to an inspection and valuation to determine credit given. We up cycle trade ins by using them as raw material or flipping them over and using them as blank canvases for one off creations.
Do you offer design services?
Yes, we do. We are happy to help you figure it all out. It is what we do and we love it! Feel free to send us pictures of your project and other elements in the space by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
When are you going to ship my purchase?
Stocked items ship out within 3 business days from purchase. You will receive an order confirmation by email.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You can shop online securely with paypal for in-stock items. We accept Visa, MC, and Amex for phone purchases of in-stock items. To order something that is not in stock we require a check or money order only.
Do you share any of my personal information?
NEVER! We regard that as unethical and opportunistic.
