Thank you to all of our customers who have supported us since 2002!

We are so sad to have to inform all of you that we will have to close Peace Industry after the new sanctions come into effect in just a couple of months. We can not express how grateful we are to have had the opportunity to share our rugs with you. Along the way we have received an incredible amount of appreciation and support which makes all of the challenges of running a small, but global business insignificant relative to the reward. It was a great honor and pleasure. Thank you!

Peace Industry grew from the intention to make a small contribution to global peace. Some of you may know that before we made rugs, we made peace flags. Making peace flags and making felt rugs in Iran started with a simple statement, 'I've been thinking about what I could do to create the conditions that promote peace.' We hope that what we have done has left a seed that may grow into a new wellspring of creativity, peaceful intention,  and cultural appreciation.

We will be selling what is left of our inventory before we close. The store will remain open until all of the rugs are sold. We will be open by appointment and will, otherwise, not have a regular schedule. Walk-ins are welcome but we strongly suggest calling ahead to make sure we are open at 415-255-9940.
